Beavers (6–8)

Do you live near Beacon Hill or Hindhead?  Do you have a child between 6 to 8 years? Would they like to have fun learning "skills for life" through scouting? Our Beaver colony meets on Wednesdays from 18.30 to 19.30.

If your child would be interested in joining please let us know in the Contact form.

Cubs (8-10½)

The Cub Scout Pack meets weekly on Monday evenings and the pack is split into smaller groups called Sixes.

Cubs love gaining Badges so our meetings offer cubs the opportunity to gain various Challenge and Activity Badges from the Cub Scout Programme. We have a lot of fun with these, and in playing games, trying new things, visiting local places of interest, and inviting visitors to show us new skills. We also look at some traditional scouting skills such as knotting, fire building, map and compass reading, hiking and camping.

Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs!

Would your child like to have a trial session?  Please use the Contact form.

Scouts (10½–14)

The Scout Troop meets on Tuesdays and consists of units of six to eight Scouts called a Patrol, usually led by a Patrol Leader. Outdoor activities feature prominently, with the highlight being hiking and camping. Throughout the year, Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for camp.
